Message	it into place? Sounds odd. Mine is a perfect fit, but by no means does it take any pressure... you just drop it in and slide it to the left. I never drilled holes to mount mine - I simply use the t-top straps to hold own a thick, folded blanket (which I use to protect my t-tops). It keeps the box from sliding.
